CALGARY CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY
Located in South Calgary, I offer thoughtfully styled cake smash photography sessions designed to celebrate life’s most meaningful milestones—from your baby’s first birthday to playful celebrations at any age. While cake smashes are most beloved for first birthdays, they’ve also become a fun and memorable way to mark milestone celebrations for older children and even adults.
A cake smash session is more than a photoshoot—it’s a beautifully curated experience that captures the joy, personality, and fleeting moments as your little one steps into toddlerhood.
Each session is styled with intention, featuring a collection of elegant backdrops, refined props, and whimsical details that come together to create a cohesive and polished look. From soft, minimalist designs to more playful and elaborate setups, every set is created to feel both elevated and uniquely yours.

A Fully Styled Experience
Your custom cake smash session can also include family portraits captured before the celebration begins—either in-studio against a clean, timeless backdrop or outdoors in the park just steps from my studio. These images offer a beautiful way to document your family alongside this special milestone.
To ensure a seamless experience, most styling elements are provided for your little one. This includes a curated wardrobe of outfits, along with crowns, headpieces, props, a cake stand, cake topper, and balloons—everything needed to create a polished, cohesive look. The only element not included is the cake, allowing you the flexibility to bring your own or work with one of my preferred local bakers: Cake Smash Bakers
Following the cake smash, many families choose to add a bubble bath session—a playful and charming way to end the experience while capturing even more personality-filled moments.
After Your Session
You’ll be invited to view a curated gallery of your images and select your favourites for final editing. Each of your chosen images are carefully refined to ensure a soft, polished, and timeless finish that you may print through my printing company of choice, or your own local printing company.
