Let me introduce my most recent love birds- Dwight and Renee!!! They just tied the knot on July 9th at the prestigious Bearspaw Golf Club. This is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph at because of it's beautiful scenery and its unique new venue that's a mélange of modern and rustic touches. Renee looked so stunning in her champagne dress that was adorned with elegant embroidery. And Dwight looked so sharp in a suit that wasn't plaid!

The couple wanted to capture more emotional photos that encompassed the day rather than poised stoic pictures. They sure got what they bargained for. As soon as we finished their first look photos a group of golfers ran over to take pictures with the couple. A few minutes into our family photos a bird pooped all over Renee's dress and veil. That's right, on NO ONE else other than the bride. Add to this gale force winds that just randomly appeared as we were doing extended family portraits and made Renee's veil just go flying onto friends faces. It was nonstop laughs and I hope Renee and Dwight had the best day ever celebrating their love and commitment to one another. I absolutely adored photographing them and their friends, families and the nieces and nephews they talked so much about before the wedding. They are going to make some amazing parents!!! And I hope they call me for more photo sessions because they're going to have some beautiful kids.
